C. A. Jay is a dark romance writer who resides in upstate New York with her husband, two kids, four cats, and her dog. She has loved writing since she was a small child. Started off writing flowery poetry which quickly devolved into teenage angst. As she grew older she discovered her love of romance, but something was missing: the gritty, possessive, dark side of love. Yes, she knew there was a side of romance she wanted to delve deeper into. Something that's not quite everyone's cup of tea, but oh so delicious. That's when Jay began writing dark romance. Her first series, The Order of Orchids and Lions, has recently been picked up by the publishing company Grendel Press, she is working on a standalone, and starting a witchy new series.
